Morning Activities

So every morning, while Eric and I get ready, we put Olivia in her play-pen so that she can entertain herself and play with her toys with out getting into anything.  Sometimes she minds and sometimes she is OK with it.  This morning she was doing really well.  No complaining or whining.  She was being such a sweet, good little girl.

When I got out of the shower, I went to go peek at her to see how she was holding up.  She was still quiet so I figured that everything was fine.  As I turned the corner into the living room I saw her standing up in her play-pen...covered in poop.  I am not kidding - it was everywhere; on the side of her play-pen, on her toys, and more than that, it was on her hands, feet, face and hair!  But she was just starring at me so calmly that I couldn't help but just giggle.

I called Eric into the room to help me out and we took her to her room for a tag-team wipe down before Eric took her into the shower to really clean her off.  To top off the morning with another good laugh, as I was cleaning off Livvy's little bottom, Eric was cleaning off her face and I heard him say to her, "no, don't open your mouth!"

My day will have a permanent smile now.

Picasa

I am trying to get a lot of pictures of Olivia up on my Picasa site.  It is a work in progress, and they are in no particular order, but if you need an Olivia fix, feel free to take a look.  It just may make your day a little brighter.

No More GI-O

The army crawl has evolved. Olivia is now officially a crawler, exclusively. Check her out...

She is also pulling her self up to stand a lot, and with assistance from Momma and Papa, she will walk around the apartment. So much is happening so fast. I can't believe my little meatloaf is already a 10 month old...and mobile.
